Disney Dining Reservation Calendar 2026: When Each Booking Window Opens

Disney dining reservations open 60 days before your visit date at 6:00 AM Eastern time. That rule is consistent across the year. What changes is how fast a given date sells out once the window opens. This calendar maps every 2026 month so you can work backward from your trip and know exactly when to be ready.

The Rolling 60-Day Window: Your Month-by-Month Table

The table below answers one question: "If my trip is in [month], when does my booking window open?" Each row shows the visit month, the opening date range for the 60-day window, the peak holiday dates in that month (if any), and how quickly the highest-demand spots fill.

| Visit Month | Booking Window Opens | Peak Holiday / Event in Month | Volatility at Peak Dates | |---|---|---|---| | January | Early–mid November 2025 / November 2025 | New Year's Day (Jan 1), runDisney Marathon Weekend | High (NYE carryover); Medium (Marathon dining) | | February | Early–mid December 2025 | Valentine's Day (Feb 14), Presidents' Week (mid-Feb) | Medium–High (Feb 14 brunch venues) | | March | Early–mid January 2026 | Spring Break begins late March | Medium (pre-Spring Break light; late March picks up) | | April | Early–mid February 2026 | Easter Sunday (April 5, 2026), Spring Break peak | Extreme (Easter brunch); High (Spring Break week) | | May | Early–mid March 2026 | Mother's Day (May 10) — window opens ~March 11 | Extreme (Mother's Day brunch); Medium otherwise | | June | Early–mid April 2026 | Memorial Day weekend (May 30 window, late April) | High (Memorial Day); Medium (early June) | | July | Early–mid May 2026 | Independence Day (July 4) — window opens ~May 5 | High (July 4 dinner venues) | | August | Early–mid June 2026 | Epcot Food & Wine Festival begins | Low–Medium (Festival walk-up low urgency; dining packages separate) | | September | Early–mid July 2026 | MNSSHP party nights begin; Labor Day weekend | High (MNSSHP party-night dining, party-by-party 60-day windows) | | October | Early–mid August 2026 | MNSSHP continues; Halloween; Columbus Day | High (Halloween party nights) | | November | Early–mid September 2026 | Thanksgiving (Nov 26) — window opens ~Sep 27; Food & Wine closes | Extreme (Thanksgiving Day); High (Thanksgiving week) | | December | Early–mid October 2026 | MVMCP party nights; Christmas Eve/Day; New Year's Eve (Dec 31 window opens ~Nov 1) | Extreme (Dec 24–26, Dec 31); High (MVMCP party nights) |

How to read this table: find your visit month, note the booking window open range, then check whether your specific dates land on a peak holiday or event. If they do, treat it as Extreme volatility regardless of the base rating.

Peak Holiday Windows: The Dates That Book in Minutes

A small number of dates every year drive demand that overwhelms the normal 60-day dynamic. These are not gradual sell-outs. They are gone within minutes of 6:00 AM ET.

Mother's Day (May 10, 2026). The 60-day window opens March 11 at 6:00 AM ET. Brunch at The Cake Bake Shop, Topolino's Terrace, Garden Grill, and Akershus fills in minutes. Post-release cancellations still surface throughout the window — SpotSitter ran 2,395 checks over 52 hours before catching a Cake Bake spot at 4:51 PM on a Friday. Set a watch before March 11, and leave it running.

Easter Sunday (April 5, 2026). Window opens approximately February 4. Brunch venues behave similarly to Mother's Day. The date is earlier in the year, which catches some families off guard.

Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2026). Window opens approximately September 27. This is the highest-demand single dinner date of the year at table-service restaurants across the parks.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24–25, 2026). Windows open October 25–26. Spots go fast at 6:00 AM ET both days.

New Year's Eve (December 31, 2026). Window opens approximately November 1. Dinner reservations at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney Springs restaurants fill same day.

Event-Driven Dining: Party Nights, Festivals, and Special Releases

Several dining categories don't follow the standard 60-day-before-your-visit pattern. They have their own release timing.

MNSSHP party-night dining. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs select nights from September through early November. Dining and dessert party reservations for each individual party night open on the standard 60-day rolling window for that specific date. The September party nights start booking in early July; the October and November nights follow accordingly. Tickets went on sale to onsite guests May 5, 2026, and to offsite guests May 12, 2026 (source: wdwprepschool.com).

MVMCP party-night dining. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs select nights November through December. Same mechanic: 60 days before each party night. Once MVMCP dates are announced, work backward 60 days per night.

Epcot Food & Wine Festival dining packages. Festival Dining packages are ticketed experiences with reserved show access. They release separately from the festival itself, typically in late July or early August. The festival dates have not been officially announced yet; based on prior years, expect late August through mid-to-late November.

Candlelight Processional dining packages. These are the fastest-selling dining drop at EPCOT every year. Packages combine a table-service meal with reserved Candlelight seating. In 2025, they released October 14. The highest-demand narrator dates sell out in under an hour. Set a watch before the release is announced.

Christmas dessert parties. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT dessert parties with fireworks viewing typically release in late October. These are among the most volatile drops of the year.

Epcot Festival of the Arts dining. The Festival of the Arts typically runs January through mid-February. Dining packages follow the same pre-festival release pattern as Food & Wine, usually a few weeks before opening day.

High-Volatility Windows to Watch Year-Round

Beyond the big holidays and events, a few venue categories run hot throughout the year.

The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's BoardWalk. High demand year-round, not just on holidays. New to Walt Disney World and consistently booked well in advance.

Topolino's Terrace character breakfast. Considered one of the best character dining experiences on property. Books out within hours of opening at the 60-day mark regardless of the date.

Be Our Guest Restaurant. Long one of the harder reservations to get. Still high demand for dinner seatings.

California Grill. Popular for fireworks viewing. Any Friday or Saturday during peak season fills fast.

Enchanting Extras (Savi's Workshop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Droid Depot, La Cava Experience). These follow the same 60-day window and same 6:00 AM ET release time. For experience-specific sell-out speeds, see the Enchanting Extras Booking Master Guide.

What to Do If Your Window Already Opened

Missing your 60-day window doesn't close the door. Cancellations happen throughout the entire booking window as families change plans, kids get sick, and budgets shift. Any table that opens after the initial release shows up in the same availability feed.

SpotSitter checks that feed every 18 seconds. When a spot opens at any of these venues on your target date, your phone buzzes within about 90 seconds via text, push notification, email, or Discord. You tap the alert, go to Disney's site, and book it. We do not store your Disney credentials. Ever.

For the full mechanics of how the 60-day window works, resort vs. offsite rules, and what to do when every time slot looks full, the Disney Dining Reservation Playbook covers every scenario.
