EPCOT Food and Wine Festival 2026 Reservations: When Dining Drops
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is the biggest dining window of the Walt Disney World year. It runs roughly three months, brings in tens of thousands of guests who did not plan their dining in advance, and puts real pressure on table-service restaurants that were already hard to get. If you are visiting during the festival and you care about Le Cellier, Monsieur Paul, Takumi-Tei, or a Festival Dining package, you need a plan before the 60-day window opens.
Here is what opens when, what books out fastest, and how to position a watch so you are not refreshing Disney's site at 6:00 AM.
When Do Food and Wine Festival 2026 Dates and Dining Packages Drop?
Disney has not announced the 2026 festival dates yet. Based on prior years, expect the window to run late August through mid-to-late November. Disney typically announces the festival window in late spring and dining packages in the weeks that follow. The packages themselves go on sale in late July or August, usually two to four weeks before opening day. That is not one release date. Disney staggers inventory, so some nights post before others.
The festival booths in World Showcase require no reservation. Every outdoor marketplace stand is walk-up. The reservation crunch is for table-service restaurants inside EPCOT and for the special event packages tied to Eat to the Beat.
What Are Festival Dining Packages and When Do They Open?
Festival Dining packages bundle a prix-fixe meal at a select EPCOT restaurant with reserved standing-room access to Eat to the Beat concerts at the America Gardens Theatre. The concert is free without a package. General standing is first-come, first-served. A package puts you in a dedicated section closer to the stage.
Historically, the package restaurant list includes Biergarten, Coral Reef, La Hacienda de San Angel, Spice Road Table, and Garden Grill, among others. The list shifts year to year. Package seatings go on sale through Disney dining at the same time as the broader dining package announcement, usually late July. High-demand concert nights (Friday and Saturday evenings, headliner acts) go first.
Which Table-Service Restaurants Book Out During Food and Wine?
The festival does not change the booking window. Every EPCOT table-service restaurant still opens on the 60-day rolling ADR window at 6:00 AM Eastern. What the festival does is concentrate demand. More guests, same number of tables.
| Venue | Booking window | Volatility during F&W | Notes | |---|---|---|---| | Le Cellier Steakhouse | 60 days, 6:00 AM ET | Extreme: sells out opening day | Canada Pavilion. Year-round highest demand. | | Monsieur Paul | 60 days, 6:00 AM ET | High: same-day gone most nights | France Pavilion. Dinner only. | | Takumi-Tei | 60 days, 6:00 AM ET | High: weekend evenings toughest | Japan Pavilion. Premium tasting menus. | | La Hacienda de San Angel | 60 days, 6:00 AM ET | Medium: easier than above three | Mexico Pavilion, waterfront. Popular for F&W packages. | | Space 220 | 60 days, 6:00 AM ET | High: fills fast year-round | Epcot park, near Future World. | | Festival Dining packages | Not yet announced (typically late July, based on prior years) | Medium-High: staggered by night | Packages open before the 60-day window closes. |
All four of the table-service entries above have the same opening mechanic: 6:00 AM Eastern, 60 days before your visit date. Resort and DVC guests booking their full stay at once have an advantage on multi-night festival visits. Offsite guests book one day at a time.
What About Pavilion Pop-Ups, Beverage Seminars, and Specialty Events?
Food and Wine runs specialty ticketed events alongside the main festival. Beverage seminars, cheese and wine pairings, and themed tasting events are sold as separate tickets. They follow their own release schedule, not the 60-day ADR window.
Pavilion pop-up experiences tied to specific countries vary by year. Some are walk-up included with park admission; others are ticketed. Check the festival's official page once the 2026 lineup is confirmed.
How to Watch for Food and Wine Reservations Without Being Up at 6:00 AM
The 60-day window for Le Cellier on a Saturday night during Food and Wine can sell out in 20 minutes. The window opens at 6:00 AM Eastern. If your travel dates fall during the festival, you need to be positioned before that window opens.
SpotSitter checks Disney's booking page every 18 seconds. When a spot opens, you get a text, push notification, or email within about 90 seconds. You tap the alert, confirm your party details on Disney's site, and book. We do not store your Disney credentials. Ever.
For festival dining packages, set a watch as soon as the release date is confirmed. The packages do not follow the 60-day ADR window, so the alert logic is different: you are watching for the initial release, not a cancellation window. Once packages sell out, cancellations cycle back in through Disney's standard system. A watch positioned through your visit date gives you full coverage.
